Job summary

Advocate Health, based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and deliver high-quality imaging across acute care settings. You will work with Radiology staff to ensure accurate positioning, protocol selection, and patient comfort during procedures.

The role requires ARRT radiology certification, BLS, and the ability to handle contrast material safely while maintaining strict radiation safety practices.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB required; BLS required.
• Experience with CT protocols and contrast administration.
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to perform exams.
• Verify orders with Radiologist and ensure proper patient identification.
• Prepare patients and obtain medical histories as needed.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain documentation in the radiology information system (RIS/EMR).
• Assist in maintaining sterile technique and safety in all procedures.
