Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a CT Technologist I for a PRN, part-time role in the CT department. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment per protocols, identify patients, verify orders with radiologists, prepare patients and document procedures, and apply strict radiation safety standards.

The position requires ARRT radiology certification or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with CT registry within one year of hire, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each patient.
• Verifies orders with Radiologist before exams.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; obtain medical history and records.
• Perform CT scanning with proper sterile technique and radiation safety.
