Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in a hospital setting with strict adherence to departmental protocols. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, obtain medical history, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging results.

The role requires ARRT Radiology certification with BLS, and flexibility to rotate shifts as needed. PT/PRN schedule and facility-based benefits apply.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and clarify with radiologist before performing exams.
• Identify patient and explain procedures; prepare patient for CT.
• Review medical history and EMR to obtain pertinent data.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment and ensure image quality.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and document usage.
• Maintain radiology safety and assist in emergencies when needed.
• Rotate shifts including call, holidays, and weekends.
