Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures on GE systems in a busy hospital setting. You will conduct post-processing, QA tests, and ensure patient readiness for radiologist interpretation.

The role requires ARRT certification, radiology program graduate, and 12–24 months of radiology experience, with stroke education as part of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 12-24 months experience in radiology
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program
• 2 hours of stroke education/year

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures on GE systems following established protocols and imaging techniques.
• Performs post-processing of images using reconstruction software relevant to the pathology or region of interest.
• Coordinates inpatient/outpatient scheduling to optimize CT equipment utilization.
• Performs QA tests to ensure image quality and equipment performance.
• Monitors patient condition during CT procedures and administers contrast as needed.
