Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CT technologist to join the Radiology: CT team. This full-time role is 36 hours per week with rotating 12-hour shifts (week 1: Tue–Fri–Sat; week 2: Mon–Wed–Thu).

You will perform CT scans, prep patients, administer contrast as directed, and ensure safety standards while collaborating with radiologists. ARRT certification and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology or NMTCB certification with ARRT CT registry required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before exam and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Review EMR for clinical history and document findings.
• Perform CT scanning and assist radiologists/PA during procedures.
• Apply radiation safety standards and maintain clean, stocked work areas.
• Rotate shifts, including call, holidays, and weekends.
