Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking an entry-level production operator for the 2-2-3 evening shift (12 hours: 6p–6:30a). You will follow manufacturing instructions to support on-time production and shipping, loading/unloading, labeling, and batch documentation while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and teamwork. Training includes extensive on-the-job safety instruction and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry level for a new production employee with 0-1 year of experience; 1-2 years preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret batch sheets, SOPs and work instructions.
• Positive team oriented attitude.
• Reliable attendance.
• Demonstrate basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and ensure high quality output.
• Prepare mixing vessels, pumps and hoses for unloading and inspect containers.
• Fill containers per batch tickets and prepare for shipment with labeling and wrapping.
• Maintain accurate batch documentation and calculate yields.
• Load/unload trucks and move materials using material handling equipment.
• Ship items in JDE and manage labeling, packing, and transfers.
