Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking an entry-level Production Operator for a 12-hour day shift on a 2-2-3 rotation. You will operate production equipment, prepare vessels and materials, and ensure safety and quality by following batch tickets and work instructions.

This role involves shipping, inventory handling in JDE, and lifting up to 50 pounds with mechanical assistance. Training is provided in the first months, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret batch sheets, SOPs and work instructions.
• Positive team oriented attitude and reliable attendance.
• Demonstrate basic mathematical skills with precision.

Responsibilities

• Operates production equipment safely and in line with training and work instructions.
• Prepares vessels, pumps, hoses and unloads materials per batch tickets and orders.
• Fills containers, labels, packages for shipment and completes related paperwork in JDE.
• Maintains batch documentation and tracks yields; performs inventory transfers in JDE.
• Loads/unloads trucks, containers and rail cars; assists with shipping and receiving.
• Participates in site safety activities and supports containment/clean-up of incidents.
