Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking a Production/Shipping associate in Ohio to follow manufacturing instructions and ensure on-time production and shipment. The role includes loading/unloading, labeling, batch preparation, inventory transfers in JDE, and strict adherence to safety policies.

The position requires ability to operate forklifts, inspect containers, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting a safe, organized work environment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year of experience; 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret batch sheets, SOPs and work instructions.
• Positive team oriented attitude.
• Reliable attendance.
• Demonstrate basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and ensure quality.
• Prepare mixing vessels, pumps and hoses for unloading.
• Handle labeling, palletizing and wrapping for shipments.
• Maintain batch records and perform inventory transfers in JDE.
• Load and unload trucks, flat-beds, tankers and rail cars.
• Support safety and housekeeping; participate in site safety activities.
• Assist in investigations of customer complaints.
