Job summary

WHITERIVERALF is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide routine daily care to residents in a Washington facility. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, and following each resident's care plan.

Responsibilities include proper documentation, reporting changes to supervisors, and maintaining confidentiality of resident information. The position requires high school education and basic Microsoft Office proficiency, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily care and services per resident assessments and care plans.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Health and Wellness Director.
• Record entries accurately in notes, SPAs, and incident reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any unauthorized access.
• Greet residents, escort to rooms, and introduce residents to others as appropriate.
• Assist with daily living activities (dental care, bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Transfer residents between rooms and assist with mobility and positioning.
• Ensure rooms are prepared and beds are made, with clean linens and comfortable environments.
• Follow policies and procedures, and communicate with nursing staff regularly.
• Observe for pressure areas or skin breakdown and report injuries or concerns.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness, handle equipment properly, and report equipment issues.
