Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking a Line Cook for buffet operations in the Hinckley area. The role encompasses preparing and finishing foods according to established recipes, maintaining quality and cleanliness, and collaborating with the culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure a smooth service.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of kitchen production experience, with at least 1 year cooking experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of restaurant kitchen production experience; one year cooking experience preferred.
• Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Preference given to Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian heritage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, finish and garnish foods per recipes and specifications.
• Follow all recipes and production specs and maintain kitchen cleanliness per health regulations.
• Work with Supervisors, Chefs, Cooks and FOH to ensure efficient operations.
• Adhere to safety and security regulations; manage multiple orders with efficiency and quality.
