Job summary

G&W Electric Co is seeking an Assembler I for the 2:00pm to 10:30pm shift. You will perform sub-assembly and assembly tasks of basic complexity in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities include studying instructions, positioning parts, assembling components, and documenting production activities. The role requires reading English instructions and BOMs, plus safe operation of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0-1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Able to use small hand and power tools safely.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints and parts lists.
• Position parts using templates or measurements and assemble components.
• Examine connections for fit and secure parts and subassemblies.
• Assist in prototypes or basic projects outside regular production as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and conserve resources.
• Train others in basic assembly tasks as needed.
• Inspect work and document actions on production/quality forms.
