Job summary

G&W Electric Co. is seeking an Assembler I to perform a variety of sub-assembly and assembly tasks of basic complexity. You will study instructions, gather parts, position components, and ensure correct assembly with attention to quality and safety.

The role involves handling prototypes or basic projects outside production when needed, maintaining a clean workspace, and documenting actions in production forms. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools.
• Ability to read drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Basic computer skills and English comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Perform sub-assembly and assembly operations of basic complexity.
• Study instructions, gather parts, and prepare work.
• Position parts using templates or measurements.
• Inspect finished work and document production steps.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
