Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced practice nursing with physician collaboration and board certification required.
• Ohio RN license and national NP certification are mandatory.
• Prescriptive authority eligible or current; BLS required.
• Credentialing as active medical staff member and privileges essential.
• MSN or DNP degree or certificate to prescribe pursued if not held.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic conditions.
• Practice with a variety of specialty populations including neonatal, pediatric, and adult.
• Work in high-acuity settings with continuous nursing vigilance as needed.
• Participate in quality monitoring and FPPE/OPPE per Joint Commission requirements.
• Contribute to health promotion and disease prevention within patient care.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Assist with discharge planning and staff education as needed.
• Serve as a resource and clinical preceptor for APN students and staff.
