Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse to provide primary and specialty care in collaboration with physicians. The role functions under standard care arrangements, with prescriptive authority where allowed, and includes patient education and discharge planning.

Must obtain active medical staff privileges and credentialing. Part-time 0.85 FTE, on-site at multiple Urgent Care locations with flexible hours and minimal weekends.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio required.
• National Certification as a nurse practitioner.
• MSN or DNP degree/certificate to prescribe preferred or active pursuit if not held.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic conditions.
• Practice with neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
• Care in settings requiring high-acuity nursing interventions and continuous vigilance.
