Job summary

INAAP in Ohio is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse to deliver primary and specialty nursing care in collaboration with physicians. The role involves health assessments, diagnosis development, and treatment planning across high-acuity settings.

The APRN will order and interpret tests, participate in rounds, and may prescribe medications within Ohio Board of Nursing authority. Credentialing and active medical staff privileges are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Licensed as an RN in State of Ohio, National Certification as a nurse practitioner.
• Must have current certificate of authority and certificate to prescribe (or eligible) by Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Credentialing as an active member of medical staff with privileges.
• Health Care Provider BLS training required.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions.
• Practice with neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
• Practices in high-acuity care settings requiring complex monitoring and therapies.
• Participates in quality monitoring via review of records and treatment plans for patient outcomes per ORC and Joint Commission.
• This FPPE/OPPE review is part of Joint Commission requirements for Advanced Practice Providers.
• Emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, and diagnosis/treatment of acute and chronic problems.
• Participates in quality monitoring per ORC requirements.
• FPPE/OPPE reviews conducted as part of Joint Commission requirements.
