Job summary

The Project Engineer at Ingersoll Rand supports EVA spacesuit hardware programs by coordinating cross-functional teams across design, fabrication, testing, and delivery. Based at the Frederica, DE facility, you will manage milestones, ensure NASA requirements, and keep schedules within scope and budget.

Responsibilities include leading RCA/CAPA actions, interfacing with NASA customers, and transitioning hardware from development to production while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or permanent resident required to access government databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EVA spacesuit projects from design release through production, integration, and delivery.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to align production priorities and schedules.
• Support execution of spacesuit assembly and integration activities at the Frederica site, ensuring readiness for build, test, and delivery.
• Lead hardware failure investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions across engineering and factory operations.
• Maintain clear communication with program managers regarding risks, issues, and impacts to cost and schedule.
