Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Project Engineer at the Frederica, DE facility to drive EVA spacesuit hardware programs from design through delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to meet NASA program milestones with a focus on Space Suit Assembly (SSA).

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to safety and quality standards, and experience in hardware development lifecycles from design release to production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to access shared government program databases (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EVA spacesuit hardware projects from design release through production, integration, and delivery.
• Serve as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to align production priorities and schedules.
• Support spacesuit assembly and integration activities at the Frederica site for build, test, and delivery.
• Lead hardware failure investigations and drive CAPA across engineering and factory operations.
• Interface with NASA customers to communicate project status and milestones.
