Job summary

Rivian Automotive in New Jersey is seeking a Service Advisor who will be front and center with customers, coordinating service needs and working with Operations, Call Center, Retail, and Marketing teams. You will apply strong communication and problem-solving skills to deliver an exceptional customer experience and lead continuous improvement within a Rivian service center.

The role requires 40 hours weekly, including weekends, and a background in customer service, with willingness to learn,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a customer facing role in Automotive industry preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote team understanding of company vision and goals.
• Support launch of Service centers and planning.
• Use training methods to ensure learning effectiveness.
• Deliver top-notch customer experience and respond to inquiries.
• Handle phone, email, and drive-in customer concerns with high responsiveness.
• Translate service issues into actionable work orders for technicians.
• Provide estimated completion times and updates to customers.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure proper service and repair.
• Coordinate vehicle details with customers prior to delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement activities as needed.
• Follow standardized work and share best practices with teams.
