Job summary

Rivian seeks a junior to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You will work closely under senior technicians and leadership to deliver exceptional customer experiences at our local service center with occasional remote work or travel.

The role emphasizes learning through mentorship, strong communication, and a passion for innovation and adventure while maintaining safety and quality in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years hands-on experience in an automotive shop or technical environment.
• Basic exposure to electric vehicle (EV) / hybrid frameworks.
• Graduation from an accredited automotive repair school/program is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service center or mobile route.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and documentation while under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures safely and maintain high quality.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Support parts operations including inventory tracking and work orders.
• Maintain detailed notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners at service facilities.
• Identify process improvements and participate in campaigns or initiatives.
• Engage in required training and grow technical skills with minimal supervision.
