Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You’ll learn under senior technicians, work at a service center, and may travel for mobile service as needed. Strong communication and a passion for innovation are valued in this fast-paced role.

The position emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, use of EV knowledge, and collaborative problem solving while maintaining safety and quality. Training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–3 years experience in automotive shop or technical env.
• Graduation from automotive repair school highly preferred.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service center, mobile route, or remote location.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and safety procedures under mentorship.
• Road tests to verify repair quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations, inventory, and work orders.
• Maintain detailed repair notes for internal/external use.
• Interact professionally with customers and partners.
• Identify improvement areas and participate in training campaigns.
