Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and mobile service operations from a local service center. You will work under senior technicians, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment and travel as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a basic EV framework understanding, strong communication, and a desire to grow technical acumen while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• 0–3 years of hands-on automotive/shop experience, open to recent grads.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or startup environments is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service center, on mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Perform road tests post-repair to verify operation and safety.
• Assist with day-to-day parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory, and work orders.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and documentation for repairs.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, and suppliers at facilities or outreach events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns and training.
• Continue training and stay current on evolving technical skills with minimal supervision as experience grows.
