Job summary

Rivian Automotive seeks a junior to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service. You will work under experienced technicians, expanding your technical acumen while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This role is primarily based at a local service center with potential for remote work, travel for mobile service, or support for plant operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• 0–3 years of hands-on automotive experience; open to recent grads.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid frameworks or startup dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers, on mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product lines, EV framework, tools, and accessories under senior technicians.
• Follow repair procedures safely and efficiently and document work thoroughly.
• Perform road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, inventory, and expense reporting.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and repair documentation.
• Interact professionally with customers, families, and suppliers.
