Job summary

Rivian in Texas is hiring a Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. You will diagnose, repair, and install systems at service centers or on-site locations, including customer homes, businesses, or production sites, with travel as needed.

The role requires hands-on automotive experience, proficiency with hand and power tools, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Fluent in English (read and speak).
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, or install Rivian vehicles at service centers or in the field.
• Identify and explain Rivian product line and EV framework to customers.
• Follow repair procedures and safety standards using available resources.
• Conduct road tests to validate repair quality.
• Manage parts ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory.
• Document work and technical notes for internal/external use.
