Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician in Texas to support vehicle repairs at service centers or on customer sites. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and willingness to learn.
• Proficient in hand tools and power tools.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to operate a non-commercial truck/trailer preferred.
• 40-hour work week, may include weekends or shifts.
• Proficient with Windows or Mac laptops/computers.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Fluent English reading/speaking.
• Able to read safety rules and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect Rivian vehicles in the field or at service centers.
• Explain Rivian product lines, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with quality and safety in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document work and technical notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with teammates and maintain high professional standards.
• Engage with customers professionally and clearly communicate status.
• Stay current with skills and required training.
• Travel to various locations including production plants as needed.
