Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. The role requires collaboration in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with duties performed at service centers or on customer sites.

The position spans multiple seniorities and may involve travel to production sites as business needs demand. The shift is Monday through Friday with rotational Saturdays, from 5pm to 2am, and includes a 15% pay differential between 6:00pm and 6:00am.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading and speaking required.
• Hands-on automotive/field service experience preferred.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week, including potential evenings/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian products, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow Rivian repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and function.
• Manage parts orders, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document all work and maintain clear notes for internal/external use.
