Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs across centers, mobile routes, and community sites. The role is based in Georgia with potential travel; it operates Monday–Friday, 5pm–2am, and includes a 15% pay differential for late shifts.

You will diagnose, repair, install, and inspect Rivian EVs, document work, perform road tests, and coordinate parts. A high school diploma and clean driving record are required; EV experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• EV/Hybrid repair experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install and inspect vehicles in service centers or at customer sites.
• Identify Rivian product lines, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures and document notes; conduct road tests.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
• Stay current with required training and safety practices.
