Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role involves field visits, service center work, and occasional travel to production sites.

The position is level-agnostic, with rotational Saturday shifts and an evening schedule from 5pm to 2am, plus a 15% pay differential after 6pm. Candidates should have a high school diploma, tools experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week, including some weekends/holidays.
• Experience in automotive shop and EV repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Rivian vehicles in the field or at service centers.
• Explain Rivian products, EV framework, and tools to customers.
• Follow Rivian procedures and safety standards in all tasks.
• Perform road tests and ensure repair quality.
• Manage parts orders, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
• Document work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and maintain professionalism with customers.
