Job summary

Rivian in Minnesota is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. You will diagnose, fix, and install at service centers or in the field, traveling to customer sites as needed. You’ll work with a team, follow repair procedures, and document work thoroughly.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be comfortable with tools, drive a clean license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. EV experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in automotive shop settings preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections at service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian product lines, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations and inventory.
• Document all work and notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
• Stay current with technical skills and required training.
