Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to grow technical acumen while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely under the mentorship of senior technicians and leadership to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from an automotive repair program is highly preferred.
• Ability to learn EV/hybrid frameworks and adapt to a start-up pace.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle diagnosis, repairs, installations and inspections at service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and accessories under mentorship.
• Follow repair procedures and safety guidelines with quality.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify safety and functionality.
• Assist with parts operations, ordering, receiving, and inventory tracking.
• Maintain detailed technical notes and repair documentation.
• Interact with customers professionally at service facilities or outreach events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in campaigns or initiatives.
• Engage in required training and grow technical skills with minimal supervision.
