Job summary

Rivian is seeking an emerging to mid-level Technician to support EV repairs, inspections, and field service operations. You’ll learn under experienced technicians and leadership, delivering exceptional customer experiences while growing your technical acumen.

Based primarily at a local service center, the role may include remote work, mobile service travel, or plant support as needed. Strong communication and a passion for innovation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years hands-on automotive shop experience preferred.
• Basic exposure to EV/hybrid systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel regionally and support mobile service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect EVs across service centers, mobile routes, or remote locations.
• Learn product line, EV framework, tools, and safety procedures under senior mentorship.
• Conduct road tests post-repair to verify quality and safety; document results clearly.
• Assist with parts operations: ordering, receiving, inventory, and work orders.
• Maintain thorough technical notes for all repairs and processes.
• Engage professionally with customers, families, and partners at service facilities or outreach events.
• Identify process improvements and participate in service campaigns and training.
