Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Mobile Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs. Based in Florida, you may travel to various locations and work in customer homes or sites. The role spans entry to senior levels, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 15% night differential for 6:00pm–6:00am shifts.

You will diagnose, repair, and install, while coordinating parts, documenting work, and staying current with training. Strong customer-facing communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential preferred.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (3–5 year lookback).
• Ability to drive a non-commercial truck and trailer is preferred.
• 40-hour work week, shifts may include weekends/holidays.
• Proficient with Windows or Mac environments.
• Strong organizational skills and eagerness to learn.
• Physical tasks up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, data entry.
• Fluent English reading and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers or on-site with customers.
• Explain Rivian products, EV framework, tools and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures using available technical resources.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement to senior staff.
• Support service campaigns and maintain proper documentation of work.
