Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support vehicle repairs across field and service center locations. The role may involve travel to production sites and customer sites, with a primary location in the region and a 5pm-2am shift pattern on weekdays and Saturdays in rotation.

Ideal candidates may have EV repair experience, automotive shop background, and strong tool handling and customer-facing skills. A 15% night differential applies for evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hands-on automotive shop experience or EV repair a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles in the field or at service centers.
• Identify Rivian products, EV framework, tools, and accessories.
• Follow repair procedures with safety and quality in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality.
• Manage parts order, receipt, shipping and inventory.
• Document work and technical notes for internal/external use.
• Collaborate with team and communicate professionally with customers.
