Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Mobile Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs across service centers and in the field for customer locations. Based in Georgia with travel to various sites, the role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and high-quality workmanship in a dynamic environment.

The position requires a 40-hour workweek with potential evenings or weekends and may involve travel to Rivian sites or customer homes.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver’s license with clean record (3–5 year).
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Experience in automotive shop preferred; open to entry-level.
EV or hybrid repair experience a plus.
40-hour work week, including weekends as needed.
Read and speak fluent English.
Customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, install, and inspect vehicles at service centers or in-field at customer locations.
Explain Rivian products, EV framework, tools and accessories.
Follow repair procedures and safety guidelines.
Conduct road tests to verify repairs.
Manage parts ordering, receiving, shipping, and inventory.
Document all work and notes accurately.
Collaborate with team and maintain high-quality workmanship.
Communicate professionally with customers.
Stay current with technical training.
Interact with customers, affiliates, and suppliers as needed.
