Job summary

Rivian is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support Rivian vehicle repairs across service centers, mobile routes, and production locations. The role requires collaboration, strong communication, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.

The position may involve travel to various sites and customer homes, with an emphasis on safe diagnostics, efficient repairs, and clear documentation of all service actions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repairs, installations at service centers or in the field.
• Identify Rivian product line and EV framework.
• Follow repair procedures with quality and safety in mind.
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and document results.
• Manage parts operations: ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
