Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in automotive field service, diagnostics or investigations.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and troubleshooting EVs.
• Experience conducting vehicle inspections and writing technical reports.
• Strong communication with attorneys, engineers, service teams, partners or customers.
• Ability to travel and work independently in a field environment.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and safe work practices.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate vehicle inspections for warranty, product liability, and incident matters.
• Perform structured vehicle evaluations including visual inspections, diagnostics, testing, and road tests.
• Document inspection findings through notes, photos, videos, measurements, and reports.
• Communicate technical findings to lawyers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Develop rapid diagnostic plans to minimize downtime and address issues.
• Escalate safety or technical issues and coordinate responses.
• Improve inspection protocols, training materials, workflows, and cross-functional processes.
• Travel to service centers and inspection sites as needed.
