Job summary

Pearce Services in the United States is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician responsible for on-site repair and maintenance of EV charging stations in a defined region. You will ensure site safety, perform electrical maintenance, and complete field reports and work orders with accuracy.

The role requires the ability to work independently in varying conditions. Electrical expertise, relevant certifications, and prior EVSE experience are valued; state/local licensing may apply, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ EVSE field service experience and electrical power equipment background.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and OEM docs.
• English language proficiency required for safety and communication.
• State/local licensing requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on EV charging equipment.
• Conduct insulation testing, thermal imaging, torque checks and other diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and identify corrective actions.
• Review site manuals and drawings to service equipment safely and effectively.
• Own work from scheduling to completion and document site conditions in reports.
• Complete safety documentation such as JHA and LOTO per OSHA and site rules.
