Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a skilled EV Charging Field Service Technician to repair and maintain charging stations across a defined geographic region. The role requires independent field work, adherence to safety protocols, and accurate site reporting.

The position emphasizes现场 electrical and mechanical maintenance, equipment testing, and collaboration with planning teams to sustain uptime and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ equivalent experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial/utility energy fields.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills with EV chargers or power electronics preferred.
• Experience using CMMS to generate and track site work requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on EV chargers from Level 2 to DC Fast Chargers.
• Conduct insulation testing, thermal imaging, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling to ensure timely work orders and maintenance.
• Review site manuals/drawings to ensure proper service of equipment.
• In-field maintenance including preventative and corrective tasks and documenting site work in the CMMS.
