Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician to maintain and repair on-site EV chargers across a defined region. You will handle electrical and mechanical maintenance, safety documentation, and field reporting while working independently in varying conditions.

Travel within the assigned corridor is required and you must reside in the I-84 corridor to be considered. You will perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, and upgrades on Level 2 chargers and DC fast chargers, using

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ equivalent experience servicing electrical power equipment.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CMMS to manage site work.
• Proficient in English for safety and communication.
• Able to work in various weather conditions and travel within region.

Responsibilities

• Repair, test, and upgrade EV charging equipment (Level 2 to DC Fast).
• Perform insulation testing, thermal imagery, torque testing, and evaluations.
• Identify and fix ground faults; troubleshoot system performance.
• Coordinate with Planning to keep maintenance schedules; complete WOs.
• Review manuals and diagrams for proper maintenance.
• Document site issues in the work order system promptly.
