Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a defined geographic region. The role requires independent field work, safety adherence, and timely completion of site tasks.

The ideal candidate has a Journeyman Electrician license and 2+ years in electrical power equipment servicing, with familiarity in EV chargers or solar power. A company vehicle is provided and travel is common.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Journeyman Electrician in the relevant state.
• 2+ years’ experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial or utility energy fields.
• Technical troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and mechanical domains; EV chargers/solar knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to EV chargers from Level 2 to DC Fast Chargers.
• Conduct insulation testing, thermal imaging, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning to ensure schedules and work orders meet deadlines.
• Review site manuals/drawings for proper service and maintenance.
