Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician to service and repair EV charging sites across a defined geographic region. You will inspect, test, and repair equipment, and create detailed field reports while maintaining site safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on electrical work, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to operate independently in varying field conditions. Pearce provides training, company vehicles, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• 2+ years of EVSE field service experience.
• Certified Electrician Journeyman level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on EV charging equipment, from Level 2 to DC fast chargers.
• Conduct insulation testing, thermal imaging, torque testing, and other diagnostics as required.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, identify faults, and implement corrective actions.
• Review site manuals and drawings; complete accurate field reports and work orders.
• Lead safety tasks, document JHA/LOTO, and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Communicate findings and coordinate with regional scheduling and customers.
