Job summary

Pearce is seeking a skilled EV Charging Field Service Technician to perform onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations across a defined region. You will handle site safety, electrical maintenance, and field reporting with minimal supervision in varied outdoor conditions.

Requirements include 2+ years in servicing electrical power equipment, CMMS experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using a CMMS to generate, track, and complete site work requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with a high level of results orientation.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to EV charging equipment from Level 2 to DC Fast Chargers.
• Conduct testing such as insulation testing, thermal imaging, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning/Scheduling to adhere to maintenance schedules and complete work orders on time.
• Review site manuals/drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform in-field preventive and corrective maintenance and complete field reports.
