Pearce Services is seeking a skilled EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain_EV charging stations across a regional geography. The role covers site safety, electrical maintenance, field reporting, and adherence to contractual requirements in the field.

The candidate must work independently and handle field conditions with minimal supervision. The position requires a Journeyman-level Electrician certification, 2+ years of power equipment service experience, and strong

Qualifications

• Electrical – Certified Electrician (Journeyman level) from a relevant state (REQUIRED).
• 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field and/or formal electrical training.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills; knowledge of EV chargers, solar power installations, or related power electronics is preferred.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate, track, and complete site work requirements.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely perform job duties and communicate with team and customers.

Responsabilités

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to EV chargers ranging from Level 2 to DC Fast Chargers.
• Conduct insulation, thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate/resolve ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling to ensure on-time work orders and maintain schedules.
• Document issues in the work order system and complete associated tasks in the field.
