Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician to perform onsite repair and maintenance of Level 2 to DC Fast EV chargers across a defined geographic region. You will handle electrical system maintenance, safety, site reports, and field documentation while working independently in varied conditions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in servicing electrical power equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with CMMS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills; EV chargers or power electronics knowledge preferred.
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate, track, and complete site work requirements.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to communicate with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades to EV chargers ranging from Level 2 to DC fast chargers.
• Conduct site safety assessments and document findings, including JHA/LOTO where required.
• Work with Planning and Scheduling to ensure maintenance schedules are followed and work orders closed on time.
• Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment.
• In-field maintenance of site equipment, field reporting, and timely completion of work orders.
