Job summary

Pearce is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Electrician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a defined geographic region. The role requires independent field work, site safety, and accurate reporting in the CMMS system, with duties spanning electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Electrical – Certified Electrician (Journeyman level) required.
• 2+ years’ equivalent experience servicing electrical power equipment.
• Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on EV chargers.
• Test insulation, thermal imaging, torque, and performance of equipment.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning to meet maintenance schedules and complete work orders.
• Review manuals/drawings and ensure proper service of equipment.
• Field maintenance including reporting and documentation of work orders.
• Document site issues in the work order system and address promptly.
