Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking an EV Charging Field Service Technician to repair and maintain EV charging stations in a designated region, performing electrical system maintenance, site safety, and field reporting under contract requirements. The role requires independent field work and the ability to work in varying conditions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in servicing electrical power equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, CMMS experience, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience servicing electrical power equipment in commercial/utility energy fields.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using CMMS to generate and track site work requirements.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades on EV chargers (Level 2 to DC Fast).
• Conduct insulation testing, thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and locate ground faults.
• Coordinate with Planning to adhere to maintenance schedules and complete work orders on time.
• Document site issues in the work order system and ensure timely resolution.
