Job summary

Pearce Services is seeking a skilled EV Charging Field Service Technician to repair and maintain EV charging stations across a regional territory. You will address electrical and mechanical issues, perform safety checks, and document work orders in the CMMS.

Independent field work in varied conditions is essential. The role requires 2+ years in electrical power equipment servicing or equivalent training, strong troubleshooting skills, and good English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment or formal electrical training.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using a CMMS to generate and track site work.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems independently with results orientation.
• Proficient reading, writing, speaking and understanding English for safety and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on EV chargers from Level 2 to DC fast chargers.
• Test insulation, thermal imagery, torque, and performance; locate and isolate faults.
• Coordinate with Planning to ensure maintenance schedules and work orders are timely.
• Review site manuals/drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance.
• In-field electrical/mechanical maintenance, field reporting, and safety documentation.
