Job summary

Highland Electric Fleets is seeking a detail-oriented Field Support Technician to join our team. You will support go-live processes for new EV charging sites, perform vehicle inspections, and assist technicians with on-site asset work, ensuring safety and timely activations at customer locations.

This remote role requires travel across the United States (50-75%), with residency near a major airport. You’ll gain hands-on experience with EV chargers and vehicles while advancing project

Responsibilities

• Represent the company at customer locations with professional conduct.
• Support go-live process for new EV charging sites and coordinate on-site activities.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and document findings prior to site activation.
• Assist technicians in asset inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on-site.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain thorough documentation for commissioning activities and inspections.
• Assist with HV charger operations and LV battery replacements as needed.
• Keep tools and workspace organized for safety and efficiency.
