Job summary

Highland Electric Fleets is seeking a diligent Field Service Technician to represent the company at customer locations, ensure professional conduct, and support go-live for new EV charging sites with on-site coordination.

You will perform vehicle inspections, assist technicians with asset inspections and on-site repairs, follow safety procedures, maintain meticulous documentation in asset and project management systems, and support HV/LV activities while traveling and adapting to varied

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and meticulous documentation.
• Time-management skills and commitment to process improvement.
• Proficiency with computers and standard software (docs, spreadsheets, PM platforms).
• Automotive Technology certification preferred.
• Willingness to develop project management and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company at customer sites with professional conduct.
• Support go-live for new EV charging sites and coordinate on-site activities.
• Conduct new vehicle inspections and document findings before activation.
• Assist technicians in asset inspections, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and on-site repairs.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain thorough documentation in asset and project management platforms.
• Support HV charger operations, including plug cycles and service responsiveness.
• Perform LV battery replacements and jump-starts as needed.
• Maintain tools and a clean work area for safety and efficiency.
• Develop customer service skills to ensure a positive go-live experience.
• Participate in training to develop technical and project coordination expertise.
