Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a field service technician to service and install electronic equipment, including security point-of-sale systems and EV charging stations. The role requires hands-on electrical work, strong problem-solving, and a commitment to safety.

You will travel 30-40% overnight, be on-call in your area, and collaborate with customers to complete maintenance and upgrades across sites.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
One+ years’ experience working in an electrical capacity is preferred.
Ability to travel up to 30-40% overnight.
Experience with POS systems (Verifone/NCR) a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good driving record is required.
Ability to use a computer and smartphone proficiently.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, inspects, and repairs electro-mechanical devices such as POS terminals and alarms.
Manages EV charger testing including torque, thermal imagery, insulation, and performance reports.
Locates system performance issues and fixes ground faults.
Completes service requests and maintenance repairs in a timely, professional manner.
Reviews work orders, manuals, and drawings to perform maintenance and service.
Uses testing devices and various hand/power tools related to the job.
May be assigned to other areas for new installations and upgrades.
