Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a Field Service Technician in Tallahassee, FL to service and install electronic equipment including security point of sale and EV charging stations. This full-time role requires hands-on troubleshooting, device maintenance, and strong safety practices.

You will travel up to 30-40% overnight and may be assigned to other areas for installations and upgrades. A high school diploma and reliable driving record are required, with experience in electrical work and POS systems

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• One+ years’ experience working in an electrical capacity preferred.
• Must be able to travel up to 30-40% overnight and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, inspects, replaces/repairs electro-mechanical devices (cash registers, coin changers, security equipment, alarms, POS).
• Manage EV charger testing requirements (torque, thermal imaging, insulation, performance reports).
• Locate system performance issues and fix ground faults.
• Complete service requests and maintenance repair items promptly and professionally.
• Review work orders and drawings to perform maintenance and service.
